Turn a view that matters to you into an original landscape oil painting. A favorite coastline, mountain path, garden, or vacation scene can inspire a canvas artwork created by hand from your photographs.
Keep the character of the place
Tell us what makes the view recognizable: a horizon, a distinctive tree, a mountain outline, or a small building. Then describe the atmosphere you want to preserve, such as a cool morning, summer light, or the quiet after rain.
Build a clear landscape brief
- One main photograph and any supporting views of the same place.
- The focal point and landmarks that must remain.
- Your preferred season, lighting, and level of detail.
- Foreground distractions or other objects you would like removed.
- Whether small figures or pets should be included.
- Preferred dimensions and the intended wall or room.
Changing a season, viewpoint, or time of day can change the whole scene. We can discuss what is feasible from your references and distinguish a faithful interpretation from a newly imagined arrangement.
